Now in its 37th year, the awards programme continues to champion outstanding businesses across the region, with this year’s entries described as “exceptional” by organisers.
Maarten Hoffmann, managing director of Platinum Media Group and organiser of the event, said: “The standard of entries this year has been exceptional.
“The judges were deeply engaged in robust discussions throughout the process – a true testament to the strength and diversity of the region’s businesses.
“We continue to be inspired by the innovation, resilience and ambition that define Sussex’s business community.
“Being shortlisted is a major achievement in itself, so congratulations to everyone who’s been named a finalist.”
Each entry underwent a detailed judging process, including scoring, interviews and a final meeting that involved extensive debate.

The 16 award categories span a wide range of business areas, including customer service, growth, export, start-ups and professional services.
The top honour, Company of the Year, will be awarded to one outstanding business from among the finalists.
The winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony on Thursday, December 4 at The Grand Hotel in Brighton.
Tickets for the ceremony can be purchased at platinummediagroup.co.uk/events/sussex-business-awards/buy-tickets/.
This unmissable event is always a sellout and will bring together hundreds of the region’s leading professionals for a night of celebration, inspiration and world-class business achievement.
The judging panel included representatives from the programme’s sponsors, such as EMC Corporate Finance, DMH Stallard, FRP Advisory, Jensten Insurance Brokers, KPMG, Kreston Reeves and MHA.
Other panel members came from Monan Gozzett, The English Soap Company, MD Hub, True Potential, Chichester College Group, Growth Animals Marketing, Benchmark Financial Planning and Innovation Capital.
The awards, organised by Platinum Media Group, remain the region’s leading business awards programme.
