    Scaffolding surrounds Fishergate and Chapel Street building as repairs underway – Blog Preston

    Extensive scaffolding has gone up around a building on the corner of a busy Preston junction.

    It follows safety concerns about the building which houses the Furness Building Society and a Catholic charity on the corner of Chapel Street and Fishergate.

    Engineers were called out in early November for investigation works after large cracks were spotted running down the side of the building.

    Now large-scale scaffolding surrounds the building and Blog Preston understands the Metanoia Project has been relocated from the upstairs of the building while works are undertaken.
