It’s officially spooky season and to celebrate, Brewers Decorator Centres have some easy and chic ways to decorate for Halloween within your home.

From using up old wallpaper samples to glow in the dark paint, Brewers is the go-to for all your decorating requirements. And, even if you’re not the biggest fan of Halloween, how about a friendly saving instead? Simply check out the link here to get a Brewers DIY or Pro Trade Card.

    Spooky season decorating tips!

    ·  Bats!

So simple, but so effective. Using offcuts or old wallpaper samples can be an effective way to create a Halloween focal point. Simply download the bat template on Brewers’ website and use this to draw round and cut out your very own colony of bats! This would be perfect for a spooky entrance or over the top of a fireplace…you could even add or or two to existing artwork around the house.

    ·  Glow in the dark paint

This is an excellent way to add in an eerie touch to decorations and make them come alive at night. Rustoleum’s Glow In the Dark Paint is quick drying and produces an eerie green glow when charged by light. It’s available in a handy 125ml pot, so you can add glow in the dark touches to a range of decorations whether it be on wood, metal and more.

    ·   Pumpkin painting!

This has really become a thing and let’s face it, when decorating for Halloween, bright oranges, greens and purples can often clash with our interior schemes. If you’re not quite ready to fully embrace it, why not paint some pumpkins using tester pots or left over paint you have from a recent decorating project? This is a great way to use up leftover paint whilst creating a unique Halloween display.
