A long-established Bristol-based flooring contractor has appointed a new sales director to drive the next phase of growth.

Michelle Davis, who has more than 20 years of experience in strategic sales, account management, and customer development within the construction and housebuilding sectors, takes on the role at Golesworthy Flooring.

Davis said: “Golesworthy Flooring stands out for its genuine commitment to its clients; it’s not just about supplying a service, but about being a dependable and trusted partner throughout the entire process. That approach resonates deeply with me.

“Having worked within the housebuilding sector, I understand the evolving expectations around customer care, and I’m looking forward to helping Golesworthy continue to set the standard. I’m excited to work with the team to build on this foundation, develop new opportunities, and continue to build relationships with our customers to ensure we continue to deliver the consistency and care that housebuilders across the region have come to expect.”

Louise Golesworthy, managing director, said: “Michele’s experience and perspective are an ideal match for our ambitions. Her understanding of the housebuilding landscape, coupled with her ability to translate client needs into action, will play an important role in shaping our future success.”

Founded in 1988 as a family-run business, Golesworthy Flooring has grown to become a partner for flooring provision and installation across 17 housebuilder clients, including Vistry Group, Barratt Redrow, Taylor Wimpey, and Bellway.
