Preparations are already under way for the annual event which will be returning to the West Bromwich’s Phoenix Collegiate venue in Clarke’s Lane on April 18 and 19. It is again being held in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity and Fairy Bricks charity.

The show held last April was sold out and raised a total of £12,243.30 and the organisers are aiming to surpass that sum at the next show.

Attractions include more than 60 exhibits, Lego workshops, mini figure hunt, Lego Robot Wars, Brick-tock, Dunk-n-Win, Star Wars 501st UK Garrison characters, a raffle prize draw and refreshments.

Enthusiasts will be able to view the amazing creations, chat to master builders, purchase games and brick sets.

Tipton’s Paul Clark, from the organising team, says: “We are  100 per cent doing the show in the spring. We are coming back on April 18 and 19 for our sixth event raising money for our two charities.

“We have got the Lego travelling fairground coming back and more displays than ever before from master builders.

“It’s a great community event and we sell out every year. Our event helps inspire kids and help them to build more amazing creations. Last year we raised over £10,000 and we are going to do more in April 2026.

“Visitors  to our 2023 show helped us raise over £12,000 taking the  money raised to date from the show to well over £44.000 for our two charities which have been bowled over year on year by how much is raised.

“They appreciate every single penny donated. However, we want to smash this to make 2026 our biggest fundraising show by surpassing the £60,000 total mark if possible.”

Tickets cost from £7 for a single while family tickets for two adults and two children cost £23. Under threes get free entry. The tickets are non-refundable and are available in advance only.

There are special quiet time slots for those with disabilities, sensory or behavioural needs.

Doors open at 10am-4pm with rolling time slots throughout the weekend.

Brick show fan Matthew Phillips posted on its Facebook page: “This is definitely the best show around. I found the national brick event is good but – the Black Country Brick Show is the next level. There is so much to see and do for all ages and a great selection of stuff to purchase from sets to brick pits to individual pieces.”

    Tickets are available from Eventbrite.

Recent projects at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity have included revamping the Steelhouse Lane entrance at a cost of £3 million; the purchase of a new £1.5m MRI scanner and developing a new medical cinema theatre.
