The Environment Agency has warned of possible flooding in six areas of Sussex amid this weekend’s wet and windy weather forecast. People are warned to take care at Climping beach, near Littlehampton, as flooding could occur “two hours either side of Friday’s evening tide” at 11.30pm. The flooding is expected to impact land and fields at Climping, with large waves reaching further than the seafront and the possibility of water pooling near properties and in Climping Street car park. West Midlands Fire Service sent six crews to tackle the blaze on Spring Road Industrial Estate, Wolverhampton just after midnight (December 6). Residents in the surrounding area were warned to keep doors and windows closed as a precaution. A post on X, which was shared at around 12.29am, said: “We have 6 crews in attendance at a fire on Spring Road Industrial Estate, Wolverhampton. “As a precaution, if you live or work nearby, please keep doors and windows closed. Ryan Robinson, 31, was working for Kingsley Roofing Contractors Limited to re-cover a flat roof of single-storey extension at a domestic property on Sywell Road in Northampton. Covers that had been installed over two large skylight openings had to be removed as part of preparation.
