Flooring SuperstoreLeading UK flooring retailer Flooring Superstore has officially opened its 50th UK store, as the business strengthens its position in the home retail sector.

The milestone follows a period of rapid expansion and £1 million investment funding the opening of six new stores in 2025 across locations including Manchester, Hove, and Harlow. The brand’s agile model and strong performance is driving plans to open a further five more retail locations in the remainder of the year.

The momentum follows a strong financial year for the North-East based business, with turnover reaching £50 million in 2025, demonstrating continued demand despite a challenging retail climate.

Founded in 2012 by entrepreneur Dan Foskett, Flooring Superstore originally launched as an e-commerce business before evolving into a hybrid retail model that combines the ease of online shopping and competitive pricing with experiential benefits of a modern showroom.

Each of the new showrooms features Flooring Superstore’s tried and tested retail format, which includes a customer first approach, free samples and specialist in store support to provide a high-quality interactive shopping experience for homeowners and trade professionals alike.

The business has over 5,000 flooring options to choose from with industry-leading finance options available, across carpet, vinyl, wood flooring and artificial grass. It has also invested in developing its own ranges, including EvoCore – a new type of waterproof flooring catering to the growing consumer demand for aesthetic but practical flooring solutions, at an affordable price.

Dan Foskett, founder of Flooring Superstore, comments: “This milestone represents the strength of our business model and the confidence our customers have in our brand.

“What started as an online-only operation has become a scalable, nationwide business built around customer needs. By combining our digital strengths with tangible retail experiences, and developing exclusive brands, we’re offering stylish, practical flooring with substance – and building long-term market differentiation. Our focus remains on delivering quality products, providing expert advice and a seamless customer experience.”
