Birchwood-based ElectroFix Group Ltd, founded in 2020, set out to challenge a sales-driven industry by putting skilled, on-the-job experience at the heart of its service.

The company began as a small, hands-on operation and has since grown into a regional contractor with a team of 10 qualified electricians, backed by a dedicated bookings and management team.

Growth has come not from rapid expansion or outsourcing, but from building an in-house team of experienced professionals who can offer clear, confident advice to customers.

A company spokesperson said: “There’s a big difference between selling a solution and explaining why it’s the right one.

“We spend time on that, and we don’t disappear once the work is finished.”

ElectroFix operates within a 50-mile radius, handling both domestic and commercial electrical projects.

Services include installations and rewires, testing and inspection, maintenance contracts, and emerging technologies such as EV charger installations and battery storage systems.

All work is NICEIC-accredited, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.

The company said customers often comment on the level of support provided before and after a job.

ElectroFix also prioritises local employment, opting to grow through directly hiring electricians from the area rather than relying heavily on subcontractors.

The company believes this approach helps maintain consistency and accountability, while also supporting the local workforce.

It has doubled down on this model as demand rises for electric vehicle infrastructure, home energy storage, and safer electrical systems in homes and workplaces.

The company believes its steady growth reflects a wider appetite for transparency and trust.
