Norwich-based Bubblegum Bathrooms recently submitted plans to convert an empty industrial unit at the Bowthorpe Employment Area in Robberds Way.
The company, currently based at Turnpike Close in Hellesdon, is a husband and wife team boasting “more than 30 years of experience in the bathroom industry”.
It sells a range of bathroom appliances and accessories such as showers, baths, taps and lights.

The plan, submitted to Broadland District and South Norfolk Council, is to: “Change the use of the site from class B8 – buildings used for storage or distribution purposes – to a class E – a commercial class.”
The site plan shows that the area will be used as a showroom for the business, which will include a toilet, basin and manual roller shutter.
A decision date on the plans has been set for July 30.
