When the temperatures drop cold as they have done this week in the UK, few meals warm you up quite as well as a good old cheese toastie. Throw in a bowl of soup to dip and you’re onto a winner.

While it’s possible to make decent toasties in a pan with a bit of butter, it’s worth investing in a decent dedicated gadget if you’re someone who makes toasties a whole lot. Right now, it’s possible to pick up a model from Tower that does just the job for less than £5.

Normally priced at £20, which is conveniently the cheapest Argos has sold it for, the Tower two portion toastie maker is already a decent deal in its own right. However, we’ve found a way to know another £15 off for savvy shoppers.

Those who create a brand new TopCashback account via this link will be rewarded with a £15 cashback bonus on their first qualifying purchase. That includes the Tower toastie maker, which is effectively taken down to a price of £3.33 once the cashback makes its way to your account.

It’s worth noting that existing Argos shoppers will pay an effective £4.83 as new Argos members will receive a slightly higher rate of cashback.

Tower makes this kitchen gadget in a luxurious rose gold colour scheme which is sure to match the decor of any modern kitchen. Inside, there’s room enough for two toasties and all your favourite fillings.

Plenty of other toastie makers are on sale for Black Friday too, like this innovative Morphy Richards microwave toastie maker at Amazon. That’s down to £19 from £34.99.

Alternatively, Argos also has a similarly priced toastie maker from Salter. The XL slice sandwich toaster is £20 instead of £25 right now, a 20% saving.

One five-star reviewer writes about the Tower Toastie Maker: “I bought this because my old toaster broke. I love the colour and the fact it’s easy to use and easy to clean.”

Meanwhile, a second shopper writes: “Lovely and easy to use, makes great toasties. I bought one for myself and my grandson loves it so I bought one for him for when he gets his own student apartment.”

A third happy customer left this review: “Such a good sandwich maker, heats fast, toasts evenly and is super easy to clean. Perfect for quick tasty sandwiches.”

However, some shoppers weren’t quite as satisfied: “I am slightly disappointed with the product as it only works for big slices of bread and I mean big. It seems to be too big even for supermarket loaves.”

Another owner wasn’t convinced of the gadget’s build quality: “This sandwich toaster does the job however it does not feel very sturdy but for £20 it’s fine.”

Here’s how you can get the Tower Toastie Maker for less than £4:
